What should be my first Shakespeare books to read? I have never read any of his books before.?

Hi, it depends what sort of genre you would be interested in. Shakespeare wrote comedy, tragedy and history plays. If you like a gripping plot that doesn't necessarily end well for the characters involved, then a tragedy may be your first choice, I would start with 'Hamlet' or 'Macbeth'. If you would rather read something more light-hearted then go for a comedy and a particularly good choice for a beginner would be 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.
