How does this quote relate to And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie?

Perhaps the themes of the novel or the interest of the story continue to be relevant to later generations - that it continues to say something to successive generations of readers. Or perhaps, if you read it more than once, it is still relevant to you or you find different things to think about each time - that is, it continues to have something to say to each individual reader.
