Is it safe to eat raw sweet potatoes, and what are the benefits?

Sorry, sweet potatoes should not be eaten raw. It prevent the good digestive enzymes from working properly and could make you ill. Don't eat raw white potatoes either. Certain vegetables provide more nutrition when cooked than they do when raw. Tomatoes are much healthier cooked because they provide more Lycopene which could help prevent cancer. Cooked carrots, spinach, mushrooms, asparagus, cabbage, peppers and many other vegetables also supply more antioxidants, such as carotenoids and ferulic acid, to the body than they do when raw,
