What would be a good mystery book?

I'm really into mystery books right now, such as the Women's Murder Club by James Patterson (I have 1-8 in the series) and I'm looking for another series like it. I'm not so into any other series he has, like the Alex Cross series. I also don't like the books to be based on a true story. I don't really like Agatha Christie. Any ideas?
