Sugar is sugar. Filling up on fruit is a terrible idea if you are on a diet. Whilst it is naturally occurring sugar and full of vitamins, it will be processed in the same way. Sugar of all kinds needs to be avoided if you are on a diet. If you hate veg then snack on bits of chicken or fat free sugar free Greek yoghurt which is also high in protein.

How much weight will I lose if?

I run 4-6 miles a day, about an hour maybe less. I'm 178, 19, female and I want to drop down to 130 or 140, but I want to know how many pounds I will lose in a month or two. I eat veggies and fruit, veggie burgers, eggs, all water, I'm also a vegetarian (been one for almost three years). Ive stopped drinking soda and eating sweets and eating junk food and fast food. I started on Monday and lost 5 pounds already. I also do zumba on the wii very other day for 30 minutes, and do 30 push ups and 50 sit ups. I can also bench 130 and squat 215. Yes I am training for rotc too. How many pounds will I lose in a month or two?

Ways to get more iron?

I've been a vegetarian for just under a year, and I am severely anemic. I take iron supplements, and usually eat healthy (mostly veggies), but I can't seem to raise my levels enough! I've even gone back to being just a pescatarian thinking that would help, but nothing is! I can't stand liver, any other ideas of iron-rich foods?
